The Welsh springer spaniel is an honest, kindly dog with a true will to please. He is easily trainable and thoroughly enjoys human contact. He is relatively easy to groom and not a dog that pesters for food. He sports a glossy, flat and silky coat of a handsomely rich dark red and white. He delights in exercise and is a fine sight on the move. A small to medium size dog they make a great family pet as they are very affectionate to family particularly children.
Also commonly used as a Gun dog/Hunting dog where they excel in flushing game, retrieving and swimming. |
